Description of the original proposed development

5876 8th Line is situated on the west side of the 8th Line and abuts other Agricultural lots. The subject site is designated Agricultural in the Essa Official Plan and zoned primarily Agricultural (A) with a portion of the south-east corner of the lot being zoned Commercial Agricultural (C5) Zone in the Essa Zoning By-law (2003-50).

The proposed Site Plan Control application would form a new agreement which justifies and regulates the use of the property. This proposal seeks to alter the grades on the property and create a 9 metre by 9 metre berm around the perimeter of the property with a chain link fence following the top, and construct eight (8) buildings as part of the revitalization of the Tally Ho Airport on the subject lands.
