Essa's Riverbank Derby

Join us on Sunday, October 4, 2026, for the annual fishing derby!

  • Time: Registration at 7:30 AM | Fishing from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM | Closing Ceremonies at 12:30 PM
  • Location: 380 Mill St, Nottawasaga Fish Park & 8888 Don Ross Fish Park
  • Cost: Free with a $40 Essa Seasonal Access Pass, or $20 cash for others

Derby Entry Requirements

Eligibility: You must have a Seasonal Fishing Access Pass or a 1-Day Essa Salmon Derby Pass to participate in the Derby.

Marshals: Official marshals will be stationed along the riverbanks and will serve as the authorities for all fish entries recorded during the Derby.
