Temporary Road Closures - November 11, 2024

2024 - Notice with Concession Route

The Township of Essa hereby advises that the following roads will be temporarily closed in Angus on November 11, 2024 between 9:00 am to approximately 12:15 pm, to allow for the concession of the Remembrance Day Parade:

• Fraser Street
• Curtis Street
• Jonas Street
• Queen Street

The temporary road closure will begin at 9:00 a.m., with roads being re-opened at approximately 12:15 p.m.

The route for the Remembrance Day Parade is outlined as follows:

Although every effort will be made to limit the amount of disturbance to residents / merchants, inconveniences such as impeded traffic flow and access to driveways / merchants are to be expected.
