Notice of a Public Meeting Pursuant to the Planning Act Concerning A Temporary Use By-law (Z3-24) (253 Barrie Street, Thornton, Con 11 N Pt Lot 15)
The Township of Essa Council will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Essa Administration Centre (5786 County Road No. 21, near Baxter) to consider a Temporary Use By-law Amendment for 253 Barrie Street. The proposal requests temporary permission to use a single-family dwelling as a real estate office in a Residential (R1) zone, where commercial use is not typically permitted. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback. Written submissions are also welcome. A virtual Public Information Center is being held to provide information to residents on the Angus Infrastructure Master Plan - Class EA Addendum - Water Supply & Storage. The virtual session will be held on Thursday November 21, 2024 between the hours of 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
